DeAlva Wilson Arnold is a seasoned Strategy Executive and Certified Executive Coach with over 25 years of experience in leading enterprise solutions. As the Founder and CEO of D. Wilson Agency, she is dedicated to leadership development, enhancing organizational performance, and fostering cultural transformation to enable both organizations and individuals to thrive.

 

DeAlva’s career includes a wide range of corporate leadership roles in technology, enterprise program management, operations, marketing, and governance. Leveraging this extensive expertise, she established D. Wilson Agency in 2012. Her business strategies and leadership programs have been effectively implemented across both the public and private sectors, including federal and local governments, educational institutions, and Fortune 500 companies. Her efforts consistently improve effectiveness, efficiency, and revenue growth while promoting social impact.

 

In 2012, DeAlva introduced the DWA Purposeful Leadership™ program, which is now utilized nationwide by universities and organizations to build strong leadership skills. Recognizing the need for targeted development, she launched two additional leadership programs in 2019 to advance women and underrepresented leaders. Her influence also extends to the public sector, where she was instrumental in launching the Civic Leadership Academy for the City of Charlotte and directed its leadership development programs for six years.

 

DeAlva’s dedication to community leadership is reflected in her two gubernatorial appointments, serving on the Governor’s Economic Recovery Group and the NC Capital Facilities Finance Agency. She also played a vital role in the City of Charlotte’s COVID Recovery Task Force, chaired the City of Charlotte Business Advisory Committee for several years, and is an active board member of Do Greater, Freedom Communities, and the Advisory Committee for Dress for Success Charlotte.

 

Throughout her career, DeAlva has led initiatives that have improved healthcare outcomes, boosted college graduation rates, supported economic recovery efforts, and connected businesses with diverse markets to safeguard community interests. Her strategic leadership has helped companies secure multi-million dollar contracts, address public health crises, and cultivate teams of purposeful leaders across various sectors.

 

DeAlva holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Winthrop University, along with a Harvard Management Development Certification. She is also a Certified Executive Coach from the University of Georgia and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
