Leading Self

In order to effectively lead others, you must first learn how to lead yourself. Personal and professional development are inextricably linked. Programming in this track is designed to help you identify and leverage your strengths and identify and remove/minimize your blocks to success. Gain valuable knowledge on how to devise strategies for improved self-awareness and self-management, which in turn leads to better relationships, influence, and achieving the life you desire.

  • Wellness/Mental Health (in light of the recent high-profile suicides), is there a place in this conference to address the importance of taking care of your mental,  not just physical, health? Maybe this topic can be handled in a small group discussion with a therapist/counselor?

Leading Others

Successfully leading others includes a solid understanding of empathy, strong communication skills, patience, the ability to motivate and influence, and an intentional approach to diversity and inclusion. Programming in this track is designed to explore what leaders can do to address this issue and how to improve it in the workplace.
