DWA engaged in independent research about current and future trends in the national transportation industry, one of the fastest growing industries in the country. DWA conducted market analysis, reviewed hundreds of industry best practices,  interviews with local and national transportation officials, and Historically Black Colleges and Universities Chancellors and Presidents, and greatly contributed to the HBCU Outreach Office’s five-year marketing strategy designed to attract students at HBCUs to the transportation field.


DWA engaged in work that helped elevate awareness of the NCDOT HBCU Outreach office and its recruitment program for students at HBCUs nationwide. DWA evaluated existing marketing strategies, participated in stakeholder feedback sessions, development of strategic priorities, goals and objectives and designed and wrote copy for the five-year strategic plan.



DWA has been tasked with creating, managing, implementing, and marketing a year-round college readiness program, University of Possibilities, for South Carolina students in grades 6-12. The engagement required extensive research and analysis of existing college prep programs nationwide in order to distinguish University of Possibilities.

DWA delivered a comprehensive business development strategy that included key messages, marketing, brand strategy, ROI measurement tools and summaries, communication strategies for marketing services, and suggested pricing structure.
